![]() ![]() Be sure the - wire on the coil is connected to the ignitor. There should be no arching from new coil and wires to metal parts. You could have a bad winding in the coil. Doesnt sound like ignitor, because its firing the coil. The output of the pulsar should be ,5v to 1v ac consisent. Yes, when the pulsar triggers, it fires both spark plugs by way of the ignitor. I am a retired Automotive technician with 21 yrs of BMW wrenching and these base electrical systems are new and technical for me. If you are correct, then I think I have found the source of dirt in the carb!So i am leaning torwards the Ignitor as the problem a quick test light at the coil shows the on-off switching with the flashing light only problem is low sparkoutput on one side. There should be a 6 inch hose attached to it and run towards the bottom of the cart so that fuel can drain away from the engine. What goes there? This is a robin 4 stroke about 12 hp. I guess it is to draw vapors from the tank, but I see no place to connect. I tried to plug it, but the thing wont run that way. The cart I worked on last year came back today Question is this: there is a hose port on the side of the carb but the hose is missing.
